This project, in the city of Santa Monica, consists of three elements. Element one includes the treatment and reuse of brackish groundwater. Element two involves the treatment and reuse of municipal wastewater. Element 3 consists of the harvesting, treatment, and reuse of stormwater. The design process for this project started in 2018 and construction is projected to end in 2021. The total budget for the project is $95,939,393.00. This work will result in improved beach water quality, water self sufficiency, increased use of recycled water, and compliance with EWMP.
