LADWP River Supply Conduit Unit 7 Upper Reach Project
The purpose of this project is to upgrade and improve a section of the river supply conduit that transports water from the Los Angeles Reservoir to the city of Los Angeles. The river supply conduit was originally constructed in the 1940s and has served as a vital piece of infrastructure for the city. Over time, the conduit has suffered from wear and tear, and it is important to maintain and upgrade it to ensure that it continues to function effectively. This project will involve repairing and reinforcing the conduit, as well as installing new control and monitoring equipment to improve its efficiency and reliability. The success of this project will be essential in ensuring that the city of Los Angeles has a reliable source of water for its residents and businesses.
